Digital Collaboration Bridge

XOP Network's Digital Collaboration Bridge (DCB) addresses the needs of demanding conferencing users. This appliance integrates with an organization's existing telephone and data network infrastructure bringing advanced audio and web conferencing capabilities in-house.

Group Alert Conference Server

XOP Networks, Inc.'s Group Alert and Conference Server (GACS) allows organizations to send thousands of voice, SMS, email or pager messages quickly. In addition, it can be used to establish a quick dial-out audio conference (Enhanced Firebar) between key decision makers.

A moderator can use a simple CSV file upload to create multiple situation specific call out groups. Using the web portal, a moderator can view calls being delivered in real time. All call related activity is logged and promptly displayed, including termination status (e.g., busy, no answer, recorded on answering machine etc.)

Voice Mail Server

XOP Networks, Inc.'s Voice Mail Server (VMS) is a next generation voicemail system that can scale from 100s to thousands of mailboxes. Its uniqueness comes from its ability to support a number of legacy TDM interfaces (CAS E&M, PRI, MF trunks) and well as IP based as SIP and H.323 trunks. Consequently, it can be used very effectively when an enterprise or a service provider needs to migrate its voicemail resources from TDM to all IP environments.

Universal Services Node

XOP Networks' Universal Service Node scales from 48 ports to 384 ports. It provides multiple services on one platform. All services can be accessed via VoTDM and/or VoIP ports. Service Providers use the USN's VoTDM interface to support value added services on their legacy TDM networks and use the USN's VoIP interface as deploy next generation Soft Switches in their networks. The USN supports Audio Conferencing, Web Conferencing, Group Alerting, Voice Mail Switch Announcements (ANA and CNA), and other value added services. Its flexible architecture allows addition of newer services as they become available as well as customization of services to meet specific requirements. The product provides a Web based user interface for managing individual services and their associated subscriber accounts.

Consideration should be taken to plan and create a system, which are two fold; one that conveys information quickly and efficiently for day-to-day messaging needs and one that provides powerful features to address crisis situations.

The Group Alert and Conference Server is such a system. From handling typical day-to-day information updates (i.e. class and weather related changes) to emergency group notifications and emergency event conferencing, GACS is ready to make the call.

With the Group Alert and Conference Server, one call into the system can trigger simultaneous distribution of multiple types of messages, voice, text, and email, to thousands of individual recipients with specific information.

Local Government

During a crisis or emergency situation getting information out to the public as well as internal and inter-agency communication is crucial to a proper response. Rapid, accurate, and complete information can not only save lives and it can minimize all potential losses. Every minute and second can count and the old way of simply alerting decision makers is no longer adequate.

The Group Alert and Conference Server from XOP Networks not only allow you to send multiple messages to the public and key individuals, it places calls out to these individuals and can bring them into an emergency situation room conference.

Information can be exchanged quickly amongst all parties. From the command control panel, additional individuals can be alerted and brought into the conference. This can be a powerful feature for adding people on the fly that may not have been part of your normal procedure and contact list.

The GACS also allows the simultaneous delivery of voice and text messages to tens of thousands of people by simply making one phone call. Once triggered the system instantaneously launches a barrage of voice and data messages. The system can be configured to send SMS text messages, email, or dial out calls with a recorded voice message. If required it can repeat the message delivery attempt until the intended party acknowledges its receipt.

The Group Alert and Conference Server can accommodate small group call situations of as little as twelve total participants to as many as 240 on a single server. Individual conferences can be dynamically partitioned by the command center and then merged together. This allows subgroups or teams to first organize and then be brought together. All of this can be done with a simple mouse click or telephone keypad control.

Service Providers

XOP Networks' Universal Services Node (USN) supports multiple value added services on one robust carrier grade platform.

The product supports, Audio Conferencing, Web Conferencing, Group Alerting, Voicemail, Switch Announcements (ANA and CNA), and other value added services. The product supports both TDM and VoIP interfaces. CLECs and IOCs deploy XOP Networks' USN platform to migrate their legacy value added services from VoTDM to VoIP networks.

Having multiple services running on one platform lowers the CAPital EXpense associated with these services by an order of magnitude.

Dynamic sharing of VoTDM or VoIP ports across multiple services lowers the overall OPerations EXpense associated with these services by 70-80%.

Having support for both VoTDM and VoIP interfaces makes the goal of services migration to the next generation packet switched environment tenable.

The platform's modular architecture allows addition of newer services as they become available thus making the investment in a USN 'future proof'.
